Report: King Louie Shot in the Head in Chicago
UPDATE: King Louie has a Christmas message. Captioning a hospital bed pic of him in a Santa hat (see below), he wrote, "MERRY XMAS 2 ALL .... ALL I WANT 4 XMAS IS 4 EVERYBODY 2 KEEP ME N THEIR PRAYERS .....IM STAYING STRONG 4 MY FAMILY & THOSE WHO R PRAYING 4 ME .....THANK U ALL."

PREVIOUS: King Louie is "awake and talking“ after being shot in the head in Chicago Wednesday afternoon. The Windy City native was sitting in a car at around 3:30 p.m. local time when he was shot, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The rapper, whose birth name is Louis Johnson Jr., was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he remains in stabilized condition.
Further details about the shooting, or a possible suspect, are unclear.
