Boyz II Men Plan Twentieth Anniversary Album

The R&B vets mark two decades in music.

Legendary R&B group Boyz II Men have inspired a generation of artists and sold millions of records over a 20 year career, but they're not finished yet. To commemorate the two decades that have passed since their 1991 debut, the Philadelphia harmonizers will release a special double album including their first new material since 2006's The Remedy.
The new album,Twenty, will also feature re-recorded versions of Boyz II Men classics like "I'll Make Love to You," "End of the Road" and "Bended Knee" on its second disc. Tapped to help the trio craft new songs to go along with the classics are a stable of superproducers like Babyface, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Teddy Riley and Dallas Austin.
"From day one our fans have been amazing, they've seen us grow from boys to men, so we owe all our success to their continued support," said tenor and co-judge of NBC's The Sing-Off, Shawn Stockman.
"We started with a pure love for music, so to be here 20 years later still doing what we love has been a pure blessing," singer Wanya Morris added.
Boyz II Men released their debut album, Cooleyhighharmony, in 1991 and went on to sell over 60 million albums world wide. In 2003, bassist Michael McCary left the group due to complications from scoliosis.
