Nate Parker's problems aren't going away.
The Birth of a Nation filmmaker was accused of exposing himself to a female athletic trainer while standing trial for rape in 2000, an investigation from Pennsylvania state prosecutors reportedly reveals.

The new allegations stem from a probe into Penn State’s handling of serial child molester and football coach Jerry Sandusky. Investigators discovered the incident involving Parker, who was on the wrestling team at the university, while searching for evidence to prove that authorities turned a blind eye to allegations of sexual assault in the athletics department.

During a routine back treatment, Parker allegedly told the trainer he “wanted to show her something,” TMZ reports. He then pulled his pants down and “exposed the top half of his penis,” the report says. 

According to The Wrap, The woman in question reportedly declined to take the matter to police despite encouragement form the university, who eventually dropped the issue.

At the time, the lawyer for Parker called that account “completely untrue” and Parker himself denied the incident ever occurred. Parker's team has not issued a statement on these resurfaced allegations. The controversy around his rape trial, compounded by the fact that his victim recently committed suicide, essentially killed Parker's Oscar chances and is at least partly to blame for Birth of a Nation's weak showing at the box office. It remains to be seen if these new allegations will do even more damage to his career.
