Offset To Host Virtual Benefit Concert To Raise Funds For Atlanta Food Banks
Rapper Offset is doing his part to give back to those that are impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
On Saturday (April 26), the Atlanta native revealed on Instagram that he is coordinating a virtual concert to raise funds for food banks around Atlanta amid the COVID-19 pandemic. And, he’s enlisted a few of his rap peers to join the effort. The livestream will feature performances from Young Thug, Rich the Kid and SAINt JHN during the broadcast.
“Yo! I’m so excited to announce ‘OFFSET AND FRIENDS!’” he captioned a photo of the event’s flyer.
“I’m teaming up with @thuggerthugger1 @richthekid and @saintjhn to raise funds for Atlanta Community Food Bank, a Feeding America partner. We will be hosting a virtual livestream performance exclusively on Oculus venues and Facebook, presented by Supersphere.”
The live stream, which is scheduled for two hours, is set to go down this Wednesday (April 29) starting at 4:00 pm PDT (7:00 pm EST.) Fans who are interested in helping can make a donation directly through Set’s official Facebook page here.
