Travis Scott Arrested in Paris After Fight with Bodyguard in Luxury Hotel
Travis Scott was arrested Friday morning (Aug. 9) following an alleged fight involving a security guard and his own bodyguard at a luxury hotel in central Paris, according to CBS News.
The Houston rapper allegedly attacked a security guard who attempted to break up the brawl between him and his bodyguard at the George V hotel.
"I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, police officers were called to the George V hotel and arrested the rapper nicknamed Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard," the Paris prosecutor's officer said in a statement. "The security guard had intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard. The Paris public prosecutor’s office has referred the case to the 1st district of the judicial police.”
Travis Scott is in Paris for the 2024 Olympic Games. He was photographed at Team USA’s basketball semifinal win against Serbia on Thursday (Aug. 8).
As previously reported by BET, in June, the “SICKO MODE” hitmaker was arrested in Miami, Florida on alleged disorderly intoxication and trespassing charges. According to reports, the arrest affidavit revealed that there was a “disturbance” on one of the yachts in the Miami Beach Marina and he was allegedly “standing by the dock yelling at the vessel’s occupants.”
