Through the same way he came in the game, Bow Wow (real name Shad Moss) is officially announcing his retirement (again) with some assistance from the big Dogg, Snoop.

The Columbus, Ohio, native took to Instagram yesterday (August 7) to break the news and also revealed that, before leaving the rap game, he’s dropping one last album.

“My last album will be Executive Produced by my uncle Snoop and myself,” he captioned next to an old school pic of Snoop Dogg. “Since he brought me in the game, its only right i involve him and end it with him. ITS OFFICIAL!!!! THIS S**T BOUT TO BANG ON MOMMAS! And we aiming and im talking RECKLESS on this album. NOBODY SAFE#DPG #ATK

You may be wondering when Bow Wow last released a project. It was actually back in 2013 when he dropped Greenlight 5. At the time, he was signed with YMCMB, however it was a mixtape. BW has never released a studio LP under Young Money.

Bow Wow broke onto the hip-hop scene supposedly all the way back on Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle album. He’s allegedly the kid’s voice on the intro of “Gz and Hustlas.” His official rapping debut (under the name Lil Bow Wow) came on 2000's Beware of Dog, which was released under Jermaine Dupri’s So So Def imprint. Snoop made an appearance on that album via "Bow Wow (That's My Name)."
