Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have finally arrived at an agreement regarding their lengthy divorce filing. Considering the news recently broke that Cannon is expecting a baby with his ex, Brittany Bell, the settlement couldn't have come at a better (or at least more interesting) time.

While Carey has her own romantic and personal life to deal with, the singer did weigh in on the recent news that her now ex-husband is soon to be a new father again.

“I’ll always be supportive of him…" Carey shared in an interview with Extra. "And this is all news to me, ’cause I didn’t know about this till maybe last week."

She then elaborated that he "kind of" confirmed the news to her, but it appears as though she found out the news from a secondary source.

“I asked him a question and then he kinda said yes, but didn’t, and I’m like, it’s kinda confirmed…," she added. "If he’s happy, that's great."

Considering the two co-parent five-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, it's always refreshing to hear the former couple support one another as they each enter new chapters in their individual lives.
