DeMarcus Cousins, George Karl in Better Place
In late June, DeMarcus Cousins took to his Twitter account, addressing trade rumors with three emojis — a snake between grass as a reference to a snake in the grass.
Many deferred that Cousins was referring to Sacramento Kings coach George Karl and that the relationship between the All-Star center and veteran coach were extremely frigid.
Well, nearly two months later, the two seem to be in a better place, as Boogie showed with the Instagram shot on Tuesday.
The challenge now will be turning the Kings into a winner in the Western Conference. The franchise finished with a 29-53 record last season, despite Cousins averaging a ridiculous 24.1 points, 12.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.
He'll be aided in the 2015-16 season with the recent additions of point guards Rajon Rondo and Seth Curry and shooting guard Marco Belinelli.
