Actress Tichina Arnold got candid about dating as she experienced menopause during her recent appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

On November 16, the 53-year-old The Neighborhood star opened up about going through the “change of life” with the EGOT host. Jennifer Hudson and Arnold were comfy on the set’s sofa when the Chicago native jumped straight to the point.

“Tell me about these hot flashes you be having, please,” Hudson said to    Arnold.

The Everybody Hates Chris star asked, “Okay, who wants to talk about menopause? Anybody, anybody?”

“Don’t be afraid, don’t be ashamed because I went through menopause pretty early. I didn’t think I could have children. And I had my daughter, and I’m done. One and done. I’m one and done. I’m good. I made my contribution to society. I’m done.”

Arnold joked about being the “best date ever” because she could no longer become pregnant.

“But because I can’t get pregnant, I’m the best date ever. So you know, I’m 53 with an 18-year-old. Just pray for me. Just keep me in your prayers,” she continued as the audience cracked up.

Hudson kept the menopause chat going, telling the 53-year-old actress that she took care of her guests and had a gift for her and her hot flashes.

Arnold beat Hudson to the punch, pulling a pocket-sized motorized fan out from the pillows of the couch they sat on.

“I don’t go anywhere without my fan,” she said.

An amused Hudson said, “She done pulled it from up under my couch, my pillow. You better. But look– I got another one for you. Come on, bring me my gift. We got you one that’s bedazzled for the queen.”

Arnold was thoroughly surprised by the thoughtful gift. The fan was an upgrade from the small one Arnold brought out. It was a duo-sided, iridescent blinged-out fan.

“You better get up and model that for the people.”

The “Martin” alum obliged. Arnold hilariously sashayed around the set,  hitting cute poses with her new gift.

Hudson continued, “Yes, give it to ‘em. Mother circle– we will have you right!”
