Greg Hardy Trolls Media With Tupac Twitter Pic
Either Greg Hardy doesn't get it or he just doesn't care...but the maligned Dallas Cowboys defensive end seems to be trolling the media.
Hardy replaced his name with "Perfection" in his Twitter profile, adding "innocent until proven guilty," in reference to disturbing images of his bruised ex-girlfriend Nicole Holder being released by Deadspin on Friday — stemming from his domestic violence arrest last year.
When multiple media outlets caught on and began reporting about his edited Twitter profile Wednesday, Hardy changed it again, this time naming himself "Machiavelli," changing his background to a picture of his face on a $100 bill and swapping his profile pic to an animated version of the iconic image of late rapper Tupac Shakur spitting.
Under the pic, Hardy pasted lyrics to Pac's "Hail Mary."
Hardy's trolling of the media comes after the troubling images of a battered Holder were released to the public Friday, leading many reporters and fans to say that the Cowboys should get rid of the defensive end.
Despite seeing the photos of a beaten Holder, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stood by Hardy instead.
It doesn't look like the defensive end minds bringing more attention to himself — even if it continues to be for the wrong reasons.
