‘Freeway’ Rick Ross Responds to Rapper Rick Ross’s Snitch Comments

The beef goes on, ex-con brushes off MMG Bawse's latest verbal jab.

It's not over yet, "Freeway" Rick Ross and rapper Rick Ross are at verbal odds again. Their most recent word scuffle is a result of the Grammy-nominated rapper calling the former drug kingpin a snitch.

The 37-year-old star told Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club recently, “We talk about a lot of books and there’s a lot of this going on, but they don’t mention the 40 people he testified on and sent to prison for life. That’s the information I seen because of lawsuits. We don’t do that where I’m from.”

In response, "Freeway" Rick Ross released a statement to Allhiphop.com brushing off the informant story and asking once more that his namesake squash the beef to work towards a bigger cause. “Do your research. You can look up my public record,” noted the ex-con. “As I said in the prior video, I hope we can come together to make a change for the better for Black America.”

The Bawse has yet to produce proof to back up his allegations, which a source claims are untrue. In fact, the insider painted an opposite picture of the reformed criminal. “My family got out of jail because of Freeway. They had drugs planted,” claimed the source. “Freeway didn’t testify on 40 people. He made the hard choice to go up on six officers so 85 or so of his guys, Black men that had drugs planted on them, got out. That isn’t snitching.”
