There’s been a little bundle of joy for Chester “Lyfe” Jennings as he finishes serving a three year sentence in a Georgia prison. The R&B star and his fiancée, Marquita Goings, welcomed their first child together last month (March 11th). Their baby boy has his father’s stage name: Lyfe Michael Jennings, according to Sister 2 Sister magazine.

The 37-year-old is also a dad to two sons and a daughter from previous relationships. 

Lyfe found himself behind bars following a violent altercation with an ex-girlfriend in 2008 and has said that the entire experience has inspired some of his latest music. Maybe now with a new mini-me he can start singing a happier tune.
