Ireanna Bradshaw and her fiancé Roderick Purdie had no idea that they had a blessing coming their way after sharing their financial woes on Twitter, months before their wedding in March.
“I’m getting married in March & trying to move into our own place. Excited but overwhelmed,” Bradshaw revealed on Twitter. “I have been saving money, but it's still a struggle.”
The social media post that consisted of adoring photos of the couple, along with a screenshot of a stunning white gown from David’s Bridal revealed that despite the dressing being on sale, it still boasted a hefty price tag of $1,299.
“I found my dream dress and I want to get it so bad but between saving for the move- I don’t think it will be possible,” she admitted.
In hopes that someone would be willing to contribute to her dream ceremony, Bradshaw shared her Cash App information. “I would be so grateful to have some support. Anything would help,” she offered in a final tweet.
Sympathetic to the bride-to-be’s situation, Missy answered Bradshaw’s tweet with a heart-felt congratulations and exciting news.
“Your dress is paid for now,” Missy responded to the tweet. “I don’t know you, but I saw you said the dress of your dreams & figured I would help when I saw you post ya cash app.”
She continued, “May blessings pour on your beautiful wedding day with your future husband.”
According to Bradshaw, she was in a restaurant with her mom when she saw Missy sent the money in full. Of course, she quickly broke down in tears.
“Omg thank you so much.....I’m literally speechless,” she gushingly responded to Missy. “This is so sweet,” she added before offering an invite to her spring wedding.
While it is unclear if Missy has any plans to attend the nuptials, there is no denying that her generosity is unmatched. Such a feel-good story!
