  1. Ashunta Sheriff, Who Works With La La Anthony, Says:

To get a bold red lip look, you should always "add a little pizzazz to your red matte lip by adding red glitter. I love Naked Cosmetics Red Glitter ($60). It takes your red lip up a notch and lasts long," explains celebrity makeup artist Ashunta Sheriff, who also works with Taraji P. Henson, Aja Naomi King and Zoe Kravitz.

  2. Nelson Vercher, Who Works With Kelly Rowland, Says:

Forget about boring NYE hair, now is the time to really spice it up! "I love to use hair jewelry such as, bobby pins, barrettes, hair ties, any hair jewelry that has sparkle on them," explains celebrity hairstylist, , Nelson Vercher who also works with Chanel Iman.

"These accessories can be used to make a braid, ponytail, half up, or sleek and straight. If you have jeweled hair accessories, then you will have a perfect holiday look!"

  3. Yolonda Frederick-Thompson, Who Works With Ciara, Says:

Limited on time? No problem. Make your makeup do double duty. "One of my favorite fail-proof hacks is turning your Demi Matte red lipstick (Red Dredd) into both blush and cream eyeshadow!" shares celebrity makeup artist and inventor Yolonda Frederick-Thompson, who also works with Jennifer Hudson.

"After you’ve applied your perfect red lip and winged-eye, stipple just a hint of the red lipstick onto the apples of your cheeks, blending in a circular pattern using your ring finger. Then, with whatever remaining product left on your finger-tip, tap lightly just into the crease of each eyelid!"

  5. Dana Delaney, Who Works With Solange Knowles, Says:

Although it looks pretty, glitter can be a pain in the a** to clean up. But makeup artist Dana Delaney who also works with Tamera Mowry, Jada Pinkett Smith and Niecy Nash, has a genius solve.

"When using glitter — a holiday fave of mine — keep Scotch tape handy, as it will effortlessly lift any stray glitter that you need to remove. Also, setting your lips with an eyeshadow or pigment that matches will not only keep it on longer, but it will give it a bolder look." Who knew?!

  6. Dee Desalu, Who Works With Teyana Taylor, Says:

Hair funky and not so fresh? Skip it. "My No. 1 beauty holiday hack is to dry shampoo and condition prior to curling hair," shares celebrity hairstylist Dee Desalu, who also works with Kandi Burruss

"Recharging your hair with dry shampoo prior to tossing waves in it prevents curls from looking greasy or weighed down. My go-to is Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo ($10) and you can follow it up with Amika Silken Up Dry Conditioner ($10)."
