Kid Cudi Announces Third 'Man On The Moon' Album’s Release Date
Kid Cudi has announced that his long-awaited album Man on the Moon III: The Chosen will be out on Dec. 11.
The LP, which follows its predecessor Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager that dropped in 2010, features Pop Smoke, Skepta, Trippie Redd, and Phoebe Bridgers.
Kid Cudi released a 21-second teaser for the LP that didn’t reveal too many details, but hinted at the aesthetics. The clip features sirens’ sounds, a car being chased down an empty road, and the rapper crawling across the ground.
Kid Cudi’s had a terrific run over the years, with his last official release, Kids See Ghosts, a collaborative project with Kanye West, that dropped in 2018. In 2019, he teased the creation of an album, Entergalactic, that has yet to be released.
In 2020, Kid Cudi linked up with Travis Scott to release “Leader of the Delinquents.” Kid Cudi also shared a single with Eminem called “The Adventures of Moon Man & Slim Shady.”
