Keke Palmer To Host ‘Password’ Game Show Revival
Keke “Stay With A Job” Palmer adds yet another career accomplishment to her resume. The actress will serve as the host for the revival of the classic game show Password.
According to NBC, the network is slated to release a fresh take on the eight-episode game show in the summer of 2022.
Palmer headed to her Instagram on Tuesday (Apr. 12) to confirm the news.
“Starting a new job today! I’m hosting the classic game show PASSWORD with @jimmyfallon!! Wish me luck :),” she captioned her post. “Here are some pics of me and my boo @noraradd the other day. It’s giving I’m casual but about my BUSINESS ♍️.”
The premiere episode of Password will also pay tribute to the late Betty White, who died on Dec. 31, 2021, at the age of 99. White has been said to be one of Password’s best players.
First premiering in 1961, Password has had its fair share of celebrity guests, spinoffs, and previous revivals of the game show in 1979 and 1984. Jimmy Fallon, who will executive produce the latest iteration, has also put his spin on the show during his Late Night and The Tonight Show segments.
In other Keke news, the Emmy award-winning star will soon star in Jordan Peele’s upcoming horror film Nope. The Universal Pictures film releases on July 22, 2022.
