Drake Recruited These Gorgeous A-List Actresses For His New Video And Social Media Is Lit
Drake is on a roll right now and he continued his hot streak of high-level music last night with the release of his latest single “Nice For What.”
At 11 pm, the Toronto native delivered on his promise of new music from just a day prior. The single is his third of 2018 and sonically presents a cheerful and upbeat tone, perfect for the spring. It also features a Lauryn Hill vocal sample that’s chopped and screwed. Hats off to Murda Beatz, who produced the song, for that.
At the same time Drake dropped the single, a video for it appeared on his OVO label’s YouTube page which made equal headlines and showcased Drizzy’s knack for creating discussions around his art.
Directed by Karena Evans, the visual boasts a slew of appearances by actresses, musicians and models. Everyone from Issa Rae and Rashida Jones to Syd and Jourdan Dunn make cameos. Suffice to say, it had Twitter on its toes.
