Zendaya Will Judge the 95th Miss America Pageant
As Zendaya's star continues to rise, she just keeps raking up gigs left and right, with her latest being a pretty big deal. The singer will serve as a judge on the 95th Miss America pageant panel.
The "Replay" crooner will join country singer Brett Eldredge, snowboarding bronze medalist Amy Purdy and author Taya Kyle on the panel. Speaking on the opportunity, an excited Zendaya said she is glad to be helping to uplift women through the Miss America platform.
"It's great to be part of a show that celebrates women who are in college or graduated, and striving to make the world a better place through their chosen platform, ranging from domestic violence and bullying to cancer research and female empowerment, while also embracing beauty and fashion," she said in a statement. "I remember watching Miss America as a kid, so it's an honor to help celebrate the 95th anniversary of the competition and to help select the next Miss America."
The Miss America pageant will air live on ABC on September 13.
