Here's Why Faith Evans' And Biggie's Son Is Reportedly 'Hurt' By Her New Marriage To Stevie J...

And he's not the only one.

The aftermath of shock is still lingering after the news of an elopement between Bad Boy Records original stars Faith Evans and Stevie J even two days after the pair reportedly got hitched in Las Vegas on Tuesday night (July 17).

It’s also lingering over their closest family and friends, reports TMZ, after they had to find out in the same spontaneous way that the rest of us did, and they aren’t too happy about that. Particularly, Faith’s son Christopher Wallace Jr., who is fathered by her former husband and late Bad Boy Records rap legend Notorious B.I.G. (real name Christopher Wallace). He's “especially upset,” the site reports, especially considering that he’s Stevie J’s godson, and apparently, now-stepson as well.

  • The newlyweds gave a thinly veiled confirmation of their marriage via Twitter

To many fans’ discontent, Faith and Stevie sent loving messages to each other as Stevie specifically called the R&B songstress by her new married surname, “Faith Renee Jordan.” After TMZ’s confirmation of the nuptial, the folks over at The Shade Room obtained photos of the pair moving low profile while in Las Vegas, the reported destination where they tied the knot.

  • A few people sent their congratulations to the Jordans, but according to TMZ, CJ Wallace was not one of them

TMZ’s alleged sources shared that many people close to Faith and Stevie were hurt by the secret wedding, and actually never even knew a marriage was in question. After all, the site adds, Faith was preparing for a trip to London while Stevie was in Atlanta handling his Love & Hip Hop duties. Allegedly, the family said that it was Stevie’s idea though. He reportedly wasted no time, approaching her on Tuesday declaring they get hitched the same day. Why the rush, might you ask? According to TMZ, Stevie wanted to be sure her friends and family wouldn’t interfere and potentially change her mind.

He might have been spot-on with those sentiments, too, considering that family and friends “were blowing up Faith’s phone” on Wednesday (July 18), the day that the news of their marriage broke, questioning her about the decision. Her response was simple…”A Minute” even.

  • Faith reportedly sent the concerned family and friends a recent song titled “A Minute” that her and Stevie recently recorded, a smooth R&B jam premising that love can happen in as quick as 60 seconds. But that probably wasn’t explanation enough, as the site concludes that those same people close to the couple are still pretty ticked off and won’t be sending their blessings nor any gifts in celebration of the new Jordan union.

    Yikes.
