Naya Rivera Marries Actor Ryan Dorsey
Naya Rivera certainly doesn't dwell in the past. The Glee actress married actor Ryan Dorsey on July 19, just three months after she ended her engagement to rapper Big Sean.
The new couple tied the knot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, over the weekend before an intimate group of close family, People reports.
"We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife," the couple said in a statement to the magazine. "Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for."
While this union may seem rushed and random to outsiders, Rivera, 27, and Dorsey are no strangers to each other. Dorsey, a native of Charleston, West Virginia, met Rivera four years ago where they both attended New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts. Shortly after Rivera and Big Sean ended their relationship, the longtime friends saw their romance flourish, and ultimately decided to walk down the aisle.
Rivera wore a white Monique Lhuillier lace gown, carrying a bouquet of daisies and baby's breath, while Dorsey wore a Dolce & Gabanna suit. The couple exchanged Neil Lane rings.
"True love always prevails," the newlyweds said.
