Suge Knight Is Launching A Podcast From Prison

It’s expected to address his beefs with rivals.

Everyone can start a podcast these days, even people who are incarcerated.

At least, that’s what Suge Knight is going to attempt to do. According to TMZ, the Death Row Records founder is launching a series called Collect Calls with Suge Knight – and it’ll be recorded straight from the pen.

Teaming up with Breakbeat Media CEO David Mays, the pod is scheduled to debut its first episode on Halloween (October 31). It is expected to address beefs the Compton native has or had with various figures. The pair have already recorded five episodes, which each run 30 minutes in length and will be released weekly on Thursdays (for audio) and Fridays (for video).

“I’m proud that Breakbeat provides this essential and valuable medium. And I’m so excited to be able to enlist the help of my longtime friend and one of hip-hop’s most formidable, pioneering, and fearless leaders to help Breakbeat continue to achieve this goal,” said Mays in a statement, according to the outlet. “Collect Calls With Suge Knight will awaken hip-hop fans worldwide and build bridges across multiple generations.”

In a trailer for the first episode, Knight responds to recent comments Warren G made regarding Tupac’s signing to Death Row. Check it out below.
