R&B breakout star Muni Long has announced the release date of her debut album, Public Displays of Affection: The Album.

The announcement was first reported by HipHopVibe who notes that the album follows the Florida singer’s two EPs, Public Displays of Affection and Public Displays of Affection Too.

Long shared the news in an Instagram post where she wrote, “9/23 PDA THE ALBUM!!! I’m so happy to finally be able to give you this full project.”

She added, “I’ve spent so many hours crafting this, putting my heart and soul into each and every track. I want to give you all more of what you love and deserve. These songs, these stories, and these experiences are fueled by love and affection; that of which I have for all of you.”

Long also shared the 18-song tracklist will include previous hits, “Hrs & Hrs,” “Time Machine,” and “Baby Boo” featuring Saweetie.

The announcement garnered praise and excitement from fans and supporters cheering the announcement of the project from the acclaimed singer and songwriter.

In addition to her own illustrious career, Long has penned classics for Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, and Mariah Carey.
