Kanye West showed up at CFDA Fashion Awards after parties back in June in an adjustable snakeskin Mitchell & Ness Chicago cap made by his road manager Don C, and since then the fresh MC has popped up all over the place in several different variations of the animal-skin toppers. His boys Jay-Z and Big Sean have also snagged their own. Now, a trend is born.

The Internet has gone abuzz over the Just DON custom caps, and when nine different teams and color variations were sold in an unannounced presale, they flew off the shelves immediately. Starting August 8, the hats will be available to the public and sold exclusively at RSVP Gallery, but are you ready to shell out $400?

The hats are made with genuine python skin, premium lamb skin under the brim, and a gold buckle in the back. They’re definitely a statement piece to add to the wardrobe, but would you splurge on one? Sound off in our comments!
