Steve Harvey Launching Daytime Talk Show
With Oprah Winfrey’s run at daytime officially over now, more than ever, people are throwing their hats into the talk show ring. Already CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, former talk show host Ricki Lake and reality TV personality Bethenny Frankel area all reported to be working on shows. Now we can add Steve Harvey to the ever expanding list of names.
The Hollywood Reporter says the actor-comedian-author is developing a daytime program touted as a “comedy show with talk show elements.” The show is being launched with Endemol USA and would be distributed by NBCUniversal. The show is intended for a fall 2012 launch in syndication and will be based on his top-selling book, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. A film version of the New York Times best-seller is already in production.

"Steve is a proven ratings winner...We are excited to work with Steve Harvey and the Endemol production team on this new talk show."
