Eminem’s Scorching “Killshot” At Machine Gun Kelly Has The Internet Choosing Sides...
The moment has arrived… Eminem dropped the highly-anticipated follow-up to Machine Gun Kelly’s “Rap Devil.”
Earlier this week, in a four-part interview with Sway Calloway, Em admitted that he enjoys controversy and to admit why he dissed MGK initially on “Not Alike.” Surprisingly, the reason had nothing to do with Em’s daughter, Hailie, but with MGK swearing that Em had that Cleveland emcee shelved and blacklisted.
Despite Em curtly stating that MGK is his “f**king enemy,” the 8 Mile star detonated the bomb this afternoon (Sept. 14).
The track ain’t no “Ether,” but Em is blazing off rounds aimed straight at MGK’s head. The Detroit phenom dubbed MGK his “son,” and questions, “how you gonna name yourself after a damn gun and have a man bun?”
Em continued to burn “Rap Devil” down— line by line. Defending his age after MGK had this to say, "Knees weak of old age/The real Slim Shady can't stand up.” Em responded, “So before you die let's see who can out-petty who/With your corny rhymes (Slim you're old)/Ow, Kelly, ooh, but I'm 45 and I'm still outselling you…”
Em even went as far as to mention that “I'd rather be 80-year-old me than 20-year-old you.” Only to follow up with “as long as I’m Shady, he’s gonna have to live in my shadow," said the legend.
Em wasn’t close to finished with bodying the Beyond The Lights co-star. He also slaughtered MGK by saying he’d never make onto a list next to Biggie and Jay-Z, but instead fans will find his name next to "the last motherf**ker sayin' Hailie in vain.” Finishing off the last of his ammo with this, “Now I gotta cock back, aim, yeah, b***h, pop champagne to this/It's your moment, this is it/As big as you're gonna get, so enjoy it/Had to give you a career to destroy it...”
Fans were clearly torn about who won the war. Some sided with MGK while others kept their loyalty to Slim Shady.
