Snoop Dogg's Son Says He Only Played Football for His Dad's Love

This explains why Cordell Broadus quit UCLA's squad two months ago.

This past summer's news of Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus giving up football for a career in film was pretty shocking.

After all, Broadus was one of the most highly touted wide receivers in the country, having just accepted a full-ride scholarship from UCLA.

But in a touching revelation, Broadus revealed that the only reason he even played football was for his father's love and attention. He took to his Instagram account on Tuesday, his famous dad's birthday, to explain.

If Broadus was so good in football, even though it might not have been in his heart, imagine how good he'll be working with film if that's what he really wants to do with his life.
