Holy s**t!

France's Yohann Diniz's stomach turned into his worst enemy, as he defecated on himself a third of the way into the 50-kilometer competitive walk in the Rio Olympics on Friday morning, as reported by the Huffington Post.

And of course the already-embarrassing moment was caught on camera and tweeted out for even more of the world to see.

Adding to his pain, was the fact that he took a fall during the race. It's unclear if he started bleeding because of the fall or if it was rectal bleeding, but there's no doubt that he was in pain.

Despite those grueling circumstances, Diniz had enough resolve to finish the race in seventh place with a time of 3:46:43, earning the respect from fans watching.

The question is why did he defecate on himself?

A French newspaper reported that Diniz was having stomach problems entering the race and didn't have any other option but to relieve himself while walking at full speed during the race.

Despite the incident taking place at the Olympics, the world's biggest sports stage, Diniz isn't alone.

There are a host of runners who have defecated on themselves during competition...and there's an even longer list of athletes who have done the same in their respective sports.

As far as track and field and running or walking events go, it could be related to runner's diarrhea or runner's trots, as it's often referred to. It's characterized as a pressing need for a bowel movement during a run.

It can also possibly be attributed to bowel incontinence of some sorts, where feces leaks unexpectedly from the rectum.

But props to Yohann for finishing the race. It certainly took some bravery.
