Lauryn Hill And Megan Thee Stallion Will Headline 2023 Global Citizen Festival
On Tuesday (July 11), the Global Citizen Festival announced its 2023 lineup. And it’s packed with some greats from both the old and new schools of hip-hop.
Lauryn Hill and Megan Thee Stallion are slated to headline the event, which will take place in New York’s Central Park on September 23. Free tickets for the philanthropic fest are slated to be available for attendees via a lottery process and only after getting involved in one of GCF’s campaigns.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers, pop singer Conan Gray and K-pop band Stray Kids will also perform.
GCF says “with each action you take, you earn points to go towards your entries into the draw for Festival tickets.” There will be five separate drawings for tickets to the event, with each entry costing a total of 60 points.
July 11-31, August 1-14, August 15-28, August 29-September 11 and September 12-19 are the five time periods fans can enter the drawings.
“The campaign will unite millions of voices, amplified by the world’s biggest artists, to demand urgent action from world leaders gathering in New York City for the United Nations General Assembly in September,” a statement for the event obtained by Rolling Stone reads.
