Riggs (Mel Gibson) and Murtaugh (Danny Glover) are at it again! When the two are sent to investigate a Chinese smuggling operation, they uncover a lengthy criminal conspiracy that must be stopped. With the help of rookie detective Lee Butters (Chris Rock), the three must put an end to the dirty business before it's too late. Further complicating matters is their own personal lives as Riggs must figure out if he is ready to get married again and Murtaugh learns that Butters has been seeing his daughter.
