Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss’ Family, Friends Gather For Small Funeral Service

The assembly of loved ones comes three weeks after the beloved dancer’s passing on December 13.

Stephen “tWitch” Boss has been officially laid to rest.

The beloved dancer and Ellen DeGeneres Show producer was memorialized at a small family funeral, according to PEOPLE.

The 40-year-old reportedly died by suicide on December 13 with his death confirmed the following day.

At the time of his passing, Boss’ wife, Allison Holker, shared an emotional message about how much she loved him.

“My ONE and ONLY,” she captioned an Instagram post on December 21. “Oh how my heart aches. We miss you so much.”

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's coroner ruled that DJ tWitch died by suicide from a gunshot wound to the head. The ruling was listed on the coroner's website, and it noted that Boss died at a hotel/motel and stated that the case was closed.

The multi-talented dancer got his start in entertainment in 2008 as a runner-up on So You Think You Can Dance. He was also an actor playing Jason in the Step Up movies. Boss also appeared in Magic Mike XXL. He was the house DJ for The Ellen Show from 2014 and remained on the show until it wrapped earlier this year. In 2020, he was named an executive producer.
