Hot Trailer! Horror Movie About Black Man Dating a White Woman Will Scare You to Death
Black cinema has been pushing boundaries in a lot of ways lately, and a new film called Get Out is taking things to a whole new level.
The horror flick, written and directed by Jordan Peele of Key & Peele fame, centers around a young Black man taking a trip to the suburbs with his white girlfriend to meet her parents. What follows is a mashup of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, The People Under the Stairs and The Conjuring in one insane-looking film.
The film is packed with ideas — from myths of voodoo magic to racial profiling and interracial relationships — but, above all, it looks scary as hell. Watch the first trailer for Get Out below:
We would expect nothing less than a popcorn flick that's truly "woke" from Peele. Get Out opens next February, and we can hardly wait!
