Dwyane Wade might have taken four years to pop the question to Gabrielle Union, but he sure did it in style. The NBA player proposed with an 8.5 carat cushion cut diamond ring worth a whopping $1 million, TMZ reports.
According to the site, Wade spent months searching for the perfect diamond for the Being Mary Jane star before settling on the stunning solitaire sparkler. Wade shared the engagement news, and a photo of the blinding ring, via Twitter on Saturday. "She said YES!!!" he tweeted.
Wade enlisted the help of his own dream team — his sons Zion and Ziare and nephew Dahveon — to help create the perfect proposal. Reports the Associated Press, the three boys held up signs that read "Will you marry us?" 
This will be the second marriage for both Wade and Union: the Miami Heat player was previously married to Siohvaughn Funches, with whom he is currently embroiled in a bitter custody battle, while Union was married to athlete Chris Howard.
