Yvette Nicole Brown is getting her mean girl on in the new Disney+ film Disenchanted, which serves as a sequel to 2007’s Enchanted movie.

The new film takes place 15 years after Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) wed, with Giselle outgrowing the city life, moving their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy tale life. The new move strikes up an enemy in the town’s queen bee Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. After running to the magic of Andalasia for assistance, she turns the town into a fairy tale that jeopardizes her family’s life.

The Primetime Emmy Award nominee plays a mean girl in the sequel named Rosaleen, who serves as a part of Malvina’s posse. A total sweetheart in real life, the star shares with BET.com how she deals with rotten apples.

“I believe that kindness is the answer, so I give them no smoke and ignore them,” she expressed.

“They just need attention, so I starve them of it.”

Brown continues in conversation with BET.com about the project, and after raving about her Twitter bae Chris Evans' new relationship with Alba Baptista, she opens up about enjoying the single life despite folks claiming the status to be a "curse."

"Being single is not a curse," the actress expressed.

"I love my singleness so if I ever find the wonderful guy and get married, that would be great. I'm having a good time as a single person, too, because people feel being single means you missed out on life and I have a great life. If he comes great, but if not, I'm going to keep it going."

Brown’s portrayal in the follow-up film is a full-circle moment as the actress yearned to be in the original movie after watching it back in 2007 and shares how snagging the role came about.

“My friend Marilyn Sue played the bus driver in Enchanted, and I was watching the film saying how it would be great to be a part of this movie,” she began.

“Here I am 15 years later in the sequel. I’m happy as an audience member to be in the film, which is the icing on a beautiful cake. I spoke with the director Adam Shankman, and he wanted to speak with me to catch our chemistry. Shankman likes to work with his friends and loves nice people around him. He wanted to see if he could hang out with me in Ireland for three months, and we had an hour conversation of laughter. When I received the call to play [Rosaleen], it was like a friend calling to ask to come to play with them, and I’m still pinching myself.”
