BET's refreshed version of Freestyle Friday continues today (July 31) at The Sprite Corner in New York City. BET and Sprite are revitalizing the legendary freestyle battle series with a new format, new talent and a new host, Angela Yee.

Yee will lead a live audience inside Sprite's bodega-themed pop-up shop as viewers are treated to appearances by Mike Zombie, Sinque, Amadeus and DJ Lyve. MCs Vito Brown, Detroit Che, Relly and Blind Fury will compete on the mic along with the two Hot 16 Finalists.

Located at 188 Bowery (on the corner of Spring Street) in NYC, The Sprite Corner will give visitors access to exclusive film screenings, comedy shows and cooking lessons throughout the summer. The final installment of Freestyle Fridays at The Sprite Corner goes down Aug. 14. 

Live streaming of Freestyle Friday at The Sprite Corner will begin at 5P/4C on BET.com and in the BET app. 

A 30-minute special re-capping all three of the events will air on BET on Friday, Aug. 28 at 4 p.m. EDT.
