Jay-Z's Music Used for Album of Baby Lullabies

Hov's hits compiled to soothe crying babies.

Ever thought of using Jay-Z's music to put a crying baby down for a nap? Well, it's now possible thanks to Rockabye Baby!

The Los Angeles-based company has turned the Roc's head honcho's music into a 12-track album titled Lullaby Renditions of Jay-Z. The release isn't out until July 9, but news is already circulating that it will feature a veritable what's what of Papa Hovito's chart-topping hits, including "Empire State of Mind," "Run This Town," "Young Forever" and "Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)."

The project is touted as "the blueprint for building a peaceful bedtime," featuring "calming versions" of Jay's popular records. "You may have 99 Problems, but a crying baby ain't one," reads the album description. No word, yet, on whether or not Blue Ivy's heard it.

Rockabye Baby! holds a staff of "music lovers from all corners of the world" and has created an award-winning lullaby series of over 50 releases, giving a new spin on work from the likes of Bob Marley, U2, The Beatles, Kanye West and many others.
Lullaby Renditions of Jay-Z is currently available for pre-sale.
