Birdman Sued Over Concert Scam

Las Vegas promoter says the rapper flaked on a contract.

Birdman flew the coop, again. The Five Star Stunna is being sued by Las Vegas concert promoter Lana Fuchs and her company, Billionaire Mafia LLC, for renegging on a deal to play at Club Eve in Sin City last Wednesday, August 17.
Fuchs says she negotiated the deal with Philip Brutus, a lawyer who claimed he represented Birdman and Nicki Minaj, and paid $50,000 in advance and an additional $25,000 after receiving a contract allegedly signed by Birdman.

Birdman has "stated that he never signed the agreement in question, but it appears that his signature on the agreement appeared to be not Birdman's, but forged signatures," read legal papers.

This is not the first time the Cash Money Records co-founder is being sued for flaking out of concerts. In 2008 he was sued by a concert promoter for allegedly taking $275,000 to put on a Lil Wayne concert in Miami, and backed out repeatedly. According to TMZ, Birdman's excuse for refusing to fly south for one of the shows was because "the weather was too cold."

Fuchs is suing for $75,000 in damages, in addition to lost profits and other compensation.
