Chris Brown on the Cover of the New Source
The Source, June/July 2011
Some rappers sing and some singers rap, but no matter how you look at it, Chris Brown is undeniably a hip hop artist. CB, who showed off his mic skills on his hit single "Look at Me Now," is also gracing the cover of the June/July issue of hip hop publication The Source.
The mag calls Brown the "R&B artist of the summer" in what they are selling as their "Summer Heat" issue. "The hardest thing about Chris Brown is understanding that you’re 'Chris Brown.' I just noticed the value of my brand, and who I am as a person now," CB tells The Source in an exclusive interview.
For his first magazine interview in over a year, Chris Brown opens up about his return to the top of the charts with his number one F.A.M.E. album, what it's like being a superstar and his progression as an artist as he dabbles into rap.
