Ashanti's momager wants people to stop jumping to conclusions.

Last year, Nelly and the "Foolish" singer rekindled their romance after a 10-year split. So when he rubbed her belly at his Black and White Ball in December, the internet quickly went into overdrive, speculating that they were expanding their family. But Ashanti's mom, Tina Douglas –who also doubles as her manager– isn't running with the wind on rumors.

Last week, Douglas participated in a panel discussion alongside "Selling Tampa's" Sharelle Rosado at the 17th Annual Women’s Impact Luncheon at Jazz in the Gardens in Miami Gardens, FL. During the conversation, the host –99Jamz radio personality Supa Cindy– congratulated the "Baby" singer on having a baby, and Douglas took no time to set the record straight.

“Congratulations, Ashanti’s having a baby. So congratulations, grandma,” said Cindy in the video that was reposted by The Shade Room.

“There’s been no announcement. It hasn’t come out yet until I hear it from Ashanti and Nelly," Douglas responded .

“Oh, I thought it was public. My bad, sorry,” the host replied.

“No, it is public," said Douglas. "Don’t get it twisted, but it hasn’t been officially announced.”

To date, Nelly nor Ashanti have responded to any pregnancy rumors.

Since getting back together, the Grammy winners have given fans a front-row seat to their love and affection for each other.

Ashanti helped Nelly toast his birthday last year in a big way by gifting him with a custom 1962 Impala.

The "Country Grammar" also played up the romance to celebrate his boo's latest trip around the sun.

"One time for the birthday girl," he began a post on Instagram.

"Such a beautiful, an incredible person inside and out and one of the hardest working women. I know.. @ashanti Enjoy your day Ma you look awesome!!!! Happy Birthday Love ya!!!!"
