Lil Wayne Makes Amends With DJ Following Onstage Tantrum
Lil Wayne and his DJ of eight years were at odds for a minute, but the rapper has decided to bury the hatchet following the embarrassing onstage incident.
During a performance at Nova Southeastern University in Florida, Weezy lashed out at DJ 4our 5ive after he played the wrong version of "CoCo." Wayne wanted his remixed version from his mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait and when that didn't happen, he threw his microphone at the DJ before storming off the stage.
The beef is now in the past as TMZ reports that the two have made amends following the public debacle, all thanks to Mack Maine. The Young Money president reportedly made things right, telling Wayne that the DJ was just one of several people who messed up that night.
That seemed to be enough for the "Lollipop" rapper to make things right with 4our 5ive as they are set to appear together again in Austin at SXSW.
