Yo Gotti Goes All Out For Angela Simmons With Birthday Surprise
Yo Gotti and Angela Simmons never miss a chance to celebrate their romance.
This week, the rapper and label CEO went all out for his lady with an extravagant birthday party in Turks and Caicos.
Gotti shared a video to Instagram that recapped the special event, complete with huge bouquets of pink roses, Chanel boxes, and a saxophone serenade.
“Happy Birthday Shawty U #TheOne 2 & 3 @angelasimmons Live it up! U know it’s WHATEVER YOU WANT,” wrote Gotti in his caption.
In the video, a group of dancers are seen accompanying Simmons down a patio area to a waiting beach dinner party complete with pink decorations and a chandelier.
Simmons, 36, and Gotti, 42, are then seen dancing together in the sand.
In an August interview, Simmons said that Gotti "inspires" her.
Simmons also dished about her relationship with Yo Gotti: “I just feel like he’s one of my biggest inspirations, and we just get each other,” she said. “He’s a hustler. I love watching him. He inspires me to do better, be better. I’m really happy with him. I think he’s a great person. Not think…I know.”
When asked if she hears wedding bells in the future with the CMG mogul, she said, “I’m in a really good moment, and I’m happy. So when it happens, it’ll happen. But right now, it’s cool, I’m in a great space.”
On Friday (August 4), the rapper had a double drop for his latest mixtape, "I Showed U So," which features the track "The One", along with the music video for the song, according to PEOPLE.
The music video opens with a picturesque view of the ocean nestled between a mountainscape. In another frame, Simmons is seen striking a pose in a white one-piece swimsuit as Yo Gotti raps, "She the one."
The visual also features the couple engaged in steamy PDA while jet-setting from Greece to Dubai on shopping sprees, with the top down in a decked-out Rolls Royce.
In the song, he raps, “Can I watch you count five million in your lingerie? / F– a rose, this a Rolls-Royce / Every day like Valentine's Day / Know my house like a getaway.”
