Xscape's Brand New Reality Televison Show Has Reportedly Arrived
Just last month, rumors of a biopic chronicling the pivotal rise and career of R&B’s recently reunited girl quad Xscape hit the fandom, and ‘90s throwback enthusiasts everywhere were sure to revel in R&B cheer.
Now that TMZ reports that Bravo TV has picked up a reality television series for the ladies highly favored reunification, the quartet will be hitting the small screen and the silver screen in 2017.
According to the site, sources reveal that the reality show will be filmed in Atlanta and premiere right in time for more seasonal cheer: November. TMZ adds that it will feature Kandi Burruss, Tiny Harrisa and LaTocha and Tamika Scott while they gear up for their Essence Festival performance after a 20-year hiatus. Bravo has also placed Love & Hip-Hop’s lead producer and creator of Monami Entertainment, Mona Scott-Young, in charge for the executive producing duties for the series.
The rumors of the group’s biopic have also seated Scott-Young in the executive producer chair, stating that the ladies have entrusted such a sensitive production to her instead of networks such as TV One.
Be on the lookout for the series premiere date possibly arriving this fall.
