21 Savage Is Reportedly Being Forced To Do These Ridiculous Chores While In ICE Custody...

SMH.

While the awareness and efforts to liberate 21 Savage from his bizarre U.S. Customs and Enforcement agency immigration case is improving, his time spent behind bars while in ICE custody unfortunately appears to be worsening.

According to a report from The Blast, 21 is being tasked with menial, yet tedious, duties as an Irwin County Detention Center detainee. And though he’s not receiving any special treatment different than the other inmates, current reports on his daily routine is bringing some of the unjust and grim realities of immigration prisoners to light.

  • As reported by the site, 21 is required to make his bunk bed, stack loose papers and clear the floor of trash and debris. Fortunately, he’s at least given the fundamental human needs though, including a bar of soap, toothbrush, comb, shampoo, blanket, pillow, towel, and three meals a day. He’s also traded in new underwear and socks on a daily basis. While he is able to work out, it’s only for one hour per day. We’re not sure whether that’s allotted into his previously reported schedule, which his manager shared is limited to 23 hours a day in confinement and one hour of freedom to handle things like phone calls.

  • 21 is, however, able to receive visitors on Thursdays and Saturdays between the hours of 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Visitors to the facility must also undergo a contraband search.

BET continues to support the release of She’yaa Bin Abraham Joseph and stop to his possible deportation. We’ll keep you updated as more information becomes available.
