Nick Gordon Reportedly 'Devastated' Over Bobbi Kristina's Death
After receiving confirmation of the news that his girlfriend, Bobbi Kristina Brown, had passed, Nick Gordon is said to be "devastated," People reports. Despite facing his own legal troubles regarding his involvement in her demise, he apparently isn't taking it very well.
"Nick is very upset," a source said. "You can say what you want about him and Bobbi Kristina, but he really did love her very much, and is devastated that she is gone."
Gordon, who was raised like a son by Bobbi Kristina's iconic mother, Whitney Houston, had a rocky relationship with the Brown family after he and the young scion began dating. The late 22-year-old's aunt, Pat Houston, took out a restraining order on him in 2014 and, a year earlier, her grandmother Cissy Houston wrote an open letter to her, advising her to wait to marry him.
Reports also indicate he was one of the first people to discover Bobbi Kristina's unconscious body face-down in the bathtub in their Roswell, Georgia, home back in January. Some of her family members even believe that Gordon had a hand in her death.
According to Us, to determine the true nature of her passing, Bobbi Kristina's death will be evaluated with an autopsy report. It still remains somewhat a mystery of exactly how she died. A representative from the Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office in Georgia revealed the news of the examination to the Associated Press on Monday. There may be some complications, though, as the rep added that the nearly six months Brown spent undergoing various treatments may "complicate" the report.
Bobbi Kristina's father, Bobby Brown, is said to be in better spirits, however, as he is comforted that his daughter is reunited with her mother, reports a source.
