It took a while, but Lil Wayne has finally broken his silence about his jail time.

In his first post-jail print interview, Lil Tunechi sat down with Rolling Stone magazine and discussed commissary and solitary confinement, among other things.

As previously reported, Wayne served his eight-month bid in general population in Rikers Island. The Young Money boss, who served as a suicide prevention aide during his time, spoke about his recreational interaction with other inmates.

“I’d bust a n***a’s a** at Uno,” he told the magazine. “We gamble for phone time. I’d take n***a’s commissary: Lemme get them cookies, lemme get them chips, get that soup.”

Apparently his earnings rubbed his competitors the wrong way. Wayne said his invitation in the circle of gamblers got lost after a while.

"They'd be like, 'Oh, we thought you were asleep,'" Wayne says. "Like you can't look inside my cell and see that I'm right there! We ain't got no doors!"

Wayne made headlines when he was caught with an iPod charger in his cell. Initial reports said he was also caught with a watch that doubled as an mp3 player, but another inmate ate the charge. Still, Weezy ended his sentence in solitary confinement.

“He was a solid n***a,” said Wayne of the inmate who took the blame for his mp3 player. “Shout-out to Charles…Solitary was the worst. No TV. No radio. No commissary. Basically you’re in there 23 hours a day."

Wayne also spoke about reading the biographies of Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Marvin Gaye, Joan Jett and Anthony Keidis. He also read the Bible for the first time.
