Snoop Dogg Tops R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart
Snoop Dogg claimed the top spot on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart this week with BUSH, his thirteenth studio release. Uncle Snoop’s collaboration with Pharrell sold 27,000 copies in its first week, and is also his sixth album to debut at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
BUSH comes in at No. 14 on the Top 200, and does not appear on the Rap Albums charts.
The Doggfather trades rapping for singing on the majority of the LP, which features guest spots from Stevie Wonder, Rick Ross, Kendrick Lamar, T.I., and Charlie Wilson.“California Roll,” the second single from BUSH, sits at No. 49 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts.
The music video premiered earlier this week.
