“I fell in love with my best friend. 1 out of 10, don’t recommend,” Carmichael said in a clip of his standup routine. “I knew I had to tell him. Things started getting kind of weird between us. I had these feelings… So I texted him."
“I remember saying, ‘I know you didn’t ask for this, but somewhere down the line I developed feelings for you and I don’t know what to do with that,’" he continued. “Then I immediately turned my phone off and went into therapy.”
“My therapist was thrilled. He was so excited! He was like, ‘Man, this sh*t never happens in real-time,” Carmichael added.
Along with addressing his friendship with Carmichael, Tyler surprised the audience by bringing on Childish Gambino, who performed Running Out of Time” with him, and ASAP Rocky.

“You know what’s sick? I used to hate that n***a. Seriously, I don’t know why, I gotta go to therapy to figure it out,” Tyler said about Gambino.
“You know what’s crazy? I used to hate that n***a too. Okay, we thought we had beef. It was the n***as around us, then me and Rakim were like- we was in love and now we’re friends,” Tyler said.
