Last year, on the 16th anniversary of Aaliyah's death, we told you that MAC Cosmetics wanted to create a tribute to the late singer with a makeup collection.

Everyone familiar with Aaliyah's work was overjoyed to hear that the singer's legacy would live on, especially honoring her beauty.

On March 30, we told you about the collaboration between MAC Cosmetics and i-D working to create an Aaliyah movie featuring all of her superfans.

With all the great news on the topic of Aaliyah (a.k.a Babygirl), we couldn't contain our excitement. We just got the news that MAC cosmetics has finally given us a release date, which is set in stone... or lipstick.

That's right! The makeup will be available online June 20 and in stores June 21! 

We don't know about you, but we'll be wearing our comfortable shoes, because the line is going to be long!
