Swat Team Raids Mother Of NBA YoungBoy’s Home, Seizes Guns
A home in Texas where NBA Youngboy’s mother lives and the rapper owns was reportedly the target of a SWAT raid that resulted in the arrests of three men and seizure of multiple weapons.
TMZ reports that SWAT officers were serving a warrant at the home on Tuesday morning (Jan. 25). It is unclear whether Sherhonda Gaulden, YoungBoy’s mom, was home when officers arrived as neither the rapper nor his mother were arrested.
Thomas Gilliland, a spokesperson for the Sheriff department, told the celebrity news outlet that the arrests are related to a November shooting. Police say the man was shot multiple times in the body and head but survived.
Weapons, such as AR-15s, pistols and other guns, were seized, according to TMZ.
Back in October, NBA YoungBoy was released on bond from federal prison after serving time related to a gun case. The bond reportedly cost $500,000 with him having to sit in home confinement in Utah until his trial date.
