Outrage Over Colin Kaepernick's Name Being Pulled From Big Sean's Verse On 'Madden 19' Soundtrack
The NFL’s effective ban on Colin Kaepernick as a player is quite petty (and racist).
Anyone without a brain tries to associate him kneeling for the National Anthem with hating American and “the flag” and refuse to hear him or his cause out. But now things are getting even more petty.
Someone with an advance copy of the popular NFL video game “Madden 19” was playing the soundtrack and noticed that Kaepernick’s name has been removed from Big Sean’s verse on YG’s song “Big Bank.”
The lyrics go: "Feed me to the wolves, now I lead the pack and s**t / You boys all cap, I'm more Colin Kaepernick / I'm rare as affordable health care." You can hear in the video posting that the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback’s name completely scrubbed.
Could it be a fluke? Nope. ProFootballTalk confirmed the line had been scrubbed from an advanced copy of the EA Sports game. And while EA Sports, the creator of the game hasn’t responded to the accusations, Big Sean has and he says he was not asked or informed that the part of his verse would be wiped off the game.
"It’s disappointing and appalling @NFL & @EA took @Kaepernick7’s name out of my verse on Big Bank for Madden 19, like it was a curse word," the rapper tweeted on Thursday (August 2). "When he's not a curse, he's a gift! Nobody from my team approved any of this."
Here's what's going around on Twitter
And folks are justifiably disgusted

It'll be interesting to see in this hurts the sales of "Madden 19." If the game's creators wanted to avoid controversy, why even use the song in the first place?
Colin Kaepernick also has yet to respond to the news.
