Here's 5 Premium Rum Cocktails Your Favorite Celebs Are Sippin' On
Memorial Day weekend is officially a go! And what better way to kick off the summer than with some of our favorite stars and the leader in rum craftsmanship, Bacardi, with cocktails guaranteed to have you lit all weekend long. Bacardi is the largest privately held, family-owned spirits company in the world, which means they run the rum game. Karrueche, Rotimi, Swizz Beatz and more know what’s up! The liquor is shedding its beach-bum image as bartenders throughout the country begin to experiment with aged and full-bodied rums.
The complex-yet-often-misunderstood spirit has taken the premium-spirits world by storm with a variety of offerings that can be enjoyed either stirred, blended, shaken or sipped. Need some inspiration to ring in the holiday other than a piña colada? Set your Barcardi Superior to the side, just for now, and get a taste of the brand’s premium flavors.
From the four-year-aged Bacardi Añejo Cuatro with notes of vanilla, oak, clove and honey to the rich and complex body of Bacardi Gran Reserva Limitada, which has been aged for an impressive 12 years—there’s a drink for everyone.

Like what you taste? Then you might want to plan your next trip to the world’s largest premium rum distillery, Casa Bacardi, and help give back to the people of Puerto Rico affected by Hurricane Maria. At Casa Bacardi you’ll learn about the label’s rich history that dates back 1830.
It’s more than just a tour, it’s a guided experience where you can master the mojito in a mini-mixology class or have someone else mix your mojito for you at the waterfront bat bar pavilion. After a tasting where you’ll sample blends, some exclusively available at Casa Bacardi, you might just become a rum aficionado.
The one thing you won’t find at Casa Bacardi? Straws. Take a look at Barcardi’s #TheFutureDoesntSuck initiative to find out why and take the pledge to do away with straws completely. Whether you’re mixing a cocktail recipe from home or visiting the island, you’ll be doing a lot of good while you sip and repeat (straw-less)!
